Brownbook is the first business directory to support Google Street View

You can add Google Street View to your enhanced listing in Brownbook to show users exactly where your business is located, and Brownbook is the first business directory to provide this facility.

You can simply embed Google Street View code directly into your business page to provide a 360 degree view of your business location, in addition to its map location, and it’s very easy to grab the code from Google Street View’s “Paste HTML to embed in website” field. Just paste it into a Brownbook HTML Page Unit of your enhanced listing – it’s as simple as that.

Did you know we were also the first to include these fields (all available in the free listing): Blog url, Twitter username, VoIP address and instant messaging username ?

Here is an example of a Brownbook listing (Pulse-Light Clinic) that includes Google Street View: Pulse-Light Clinic must be one of the first companies, if not the first, to take advantage of the fact that you can do this in Brownbook!

If you happen to be in an area that’s included in Google Street View, then paste the code into your page – it’s such a cool way to further enhance your listing! If you haven’t yet claimed your listing but would like to add Google Street View as soon as possible (I can understand why you would want to!), simply find your business in Brownbook, then click the ‘This is my business‘ link, then follow the steps, making sure you include the ‘Customise my page’ option (it’s included in the current FREE 30-day trial anyway).

Dave says:

“The fact that Brownbook users can take advantage of the very latest technology on the internet such as Google Street View, shows that Brownbook really is on the ‘cutting edge’. To be able to add photos, videos, reviews, widgets, bidgets, text, a map, and now Google Street View lets business owners show off their business in much greater detail than a typical directory listing, and it’s shockingly good value for money at just $22 a year.”
